Behind the Scenes at Theater Basel–private tour in English
Sunday, October 18, 11.00 - 12.30
Cost: CHF 15 per person
Theater Basel is kindly offering the BaselConnect community a private guided tour in English at a discounted price.
This tour will give us a first hand glimpse of everyday theater life behind the scenes – from the workshops where the stage sets are designed and built, to the costume department, to the stage machinery – giving us a deeper understanding of everything that goes into a production.
The tour will be followed by networking and discussion over coffee and snacks (at individual expense) in the Theater Cafe. We hope you’ll plan to join us. Our chair’s husband, Werner Hartmann, knows the theater inside out as he was the responsible architect for the major renovation of the theater completed in 2018, will be there and happy to answer any questions.
