Walk in the Merian Gardens
Sunday, May 3, 10:30 - 12:00
BaselConnect treasurer Luca Varallo will lead a walk in the famous Merian Gardens, ending at the Merian Villa. In early May, the Merian Gardens (Brüglingen) are famous for the start of their spectacular iris season, featuring thousands of blooms, alongside early-blooming peonies, rhododendrons, and azaleas. Visitors can also enjoy tulips, late narcissus, and lush spring green foliage throughout the 18-hectare botanical site.
You can read about the history of the Merian Gardens here.
